Origin II Declared a Sell-Out

The NSWRL has received confirmation that Holden State of Origin II has been sold out.

The final General Public tickets for the match, which will see the Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues chase a first series win since 2014 at ANZ Stadium tonight, were sold this afternoon.

The only tickets still available are a limited number of $35 restricted view seats, which were released this morning. However all general admission tickets have been sold.

"State of Origin will once again prove it is Australia's greatest sporting rivalry," NRL CEO Todd Greenberg said.

"There has been enormous interest in the standalone Sunday night State of Origin and that's reflected in the fact it is now a sell-out.

"The fact that there will be close to 10,000 interstate travellers in the crowd is another real positive."

The crowd tonight will include more than 12,500 Blatchys Blues supporters.

With more than 80,000 people set to attend the match, supporters are encouraged to get to ANZ Stadium early to take advantage of the precinct activations  as well as the pre-game entertainment which will form part of the Sunday scheduling.

Fans are also reminded to allow extra time for additional security measures at entry points.

The pre-match entertainment, which includes a lights-out spectacular and performances from Aussie bands Jet, The Rubens and Kingswood, will commence at 6.45pm.

With all tickets to Origin including return travel on Sydney Trains and Major Event Buses, fans are strongly encouraged to leave the car at home.

Holden State of Origin II is proudly supported by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
