NSWRL applauds support for Junior Crazy Sock Round

The NSWRL has applauded the support shown for Men of League’s Junior Crazy Sock Round with all socks officially sold out for the event to be held this weekend.

Canterbury Cup NSW players will wear socks for their Round 19 matches while Junior Rugby League players have been encouraged to get out and wear their socks too.

“Men of League do a lot of good work for people who have fallen on hard times in the Rugby League community,” NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said.

“Junior Crazy Sock Round is a fun way to get behind a good cause and it’s great to see the support from all State Rugby League associations.

“I encourage everyone who has a pair to wear their crazy socks this weekend.”

All proceeds raised from Junior Crazy Sock Round will go directly back into Rugby League to help the men, women and children of the Rugby League community.

Any photos of Junior Rugby League players in crazy socks can be uploaded with the #crazysockround on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or sent to admin@menofleague.com
