Soward says: The warriors have found themselves in a really good position now, being at home against the Mounties, and they’re in the (top) eight now. I am expecting the Warriors to win over a tough Mounties side that continues to surprise. You look at Sam Williams now - who unfortunately hasn’t been able to get himself back in over Aiden Sezer - but they still have enough structure and power out wide with Reubenn Rennie as well. I think this is a tight one, but the time difference will get to the Mounties, I think Warriors by 2.

Soward says: Newtown need to take the mentality that every game is their season on the line. A great win last week in front of huge crowd, but how do they back that up at Lottoland in front of another big crowd away from home against a Blacktown side that doesn’t have anything to play for. They can chance their hand and they have been in good form over the last month. I’m expecting Newtown to go out and do the job here, Newtown by 6.

Soward says: The Bulldogs have got a really tough run home and again, we don’t know what’s going to happen with their first-grade side, whether they make some changes or see what they’ve got in terms of stocks, and we will need to wait and see what team runs out. Penrith continue to roll, they’ll be a powerhouse in this competition. Have they solidified their premiership credentials? Maybe not, a couple of times they’ve been beaten handsomely and I want to see how they perform away from home. Penrith by a point.

Soward says: The Bears lose Brock Lamb, so the pressure goes on Lachlan Lam now to be able to perform and steer the team around. The thing about the Bears is that they’ve failed to come out if the sheds in the second half a lot this year, and that's a worrying sign as a coach because when you’re not on that can quickly snowball. South Sydney were outstanding last week, they were right up against it, conceded a try in the first minute but they stuck to their plan. Guys like Conor Tracey, Jack Johns and Tom Amone, they just keep going, theirdefence is one of the best in the competition and I think that can carry them a long way to winning to whole thing. Rabbitohs by 10.

Soward says: It’s going to be hard for Wentworthville now to hold on for a spot in the eight, he’s (Bench French) been so much of what they’ve done well in terms of points and creativity within their attack, so they’re going to really struggle, I think, in the back-end of the year. The Dragons will look to bounce back in a big way. I think Mathew Head saw in terms of how he wants to play with those guys we’ve spoken about - Field, Dufty, Sailor, Clune, Nicholls - and who’s the best fit. He (Mathew Head) will look for a response this week, so I think the Dragons will win comfortably. Dragons by 20.
