Between the Posts: Latrell's baby news, Klemmer's amazing gift

Between the Posts is your weekly update of what’s happening in the lives of our past, present and future Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues players.

Latrell's exciting baby news

While Latrell Mitchell has endured some horrible racial taunts on Instagram in recent weeks he was finally able to deliver some amazing news after he revealed that he and his partner, Brielle, are expecing their second baby in April next year.

It comes just days before the powerhouse centre is set to play in a blockbuster Preliminary Final clash against the Melbourne Storm on Saturday.

Klemmers incredible gesture for Dureau

David Klemmer is revered as one of the toughest forwards in Rugby League but the NSW enforcer has proven to have a heart of gold and his gift to Knights Jersey Flegg coach Scott Dureau typifies that in more ways than one.

Klemmer donated his entire State of Origin pay packet to Dureau who is currently battling brain cancer which has extended to his liver.

While Klemmer wanted no recognition for his gesture, it is another example of why Klemmer is truly one of the nice guys in the NRL.

Blues get in on the glitz and glamour

With the NRL season coming to a close there's plenty of end of year functions happening and the players and partners made sure they looked the part at their 2019 presentation nights.

Fergo and Foxx go head-to-head in blockbuster

They're inseperable off the field and have forged a brotherly bond over the course of the 2019 season but Blake Ferguson and Josh Addo-Carr had to put it all aside for 80 minutes when the Storm played the Eels in the Elimination Final on Sunday.

Although Addo-Carr claimed bragging rights with an incredible solo try in the 32-0 victory, they were all smiles come full-time as the pair posed for a friendly photo post-game.

Preparations begin for the Cook family

He's one of the hardest workers on the field and seems to be just has tireless off it with Damien Cook preparing for the birth of of his first baby in just a few months time.

He couldn't help but throw some shade at good mate Dale Finucane when he put this up on instagram...only for Cody Walker to hit back with some classic banter!
