The special moment that awaits the Rizk brothers

Brothers Josh and Adam Rizk are set to make their international debuts when they represent Lebanon in the World Cup 9s tournament this weekend – a special moment they will be sure to never forget.

Having both starred for the Ryde-Eastwood Hawks in their fairtyale premiership triumph in the Sydney Shield this season, they now prepare for their debuts when they face France in the tournament's first fixture on Friday.

They're no strangers to high-pressure games with key roles in the Hawks 22-12 victory over Cabramatta, Josh crossing for a try while Adam had a hand in two others in starring performances.

Josh's sctinillating try in the second-half to well and truly take the game by the scruff ot the neck – a sign that he can deliver in the big occasions.

Adam spoke with enormous pride following the victory and will undoutebdly be just. as motivated when he puts Cedars jersey on for the first time.

“Its our first season as a Shield side, they wrote us off at the start of the year and to come back and win the Grand Final is unreal,” Adam told NSWRL.com.au after the victory.

Expect the Rizk brothers to put their best foot forward in the international arena – potentially the first of many games for their country as they look to enjoy a successful career in Rugby League, side-by-side.
