Between the Posts is your weekly update of what’s happening in the lives of our past, present and future Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues players.

Goodbye Sammy

Sam Burgess rocked the Rugby League world on Wednesday when he announced his immediate retirement due to a shoulder infection caused by recent surgery.

True Blue Adam Reynolds has played with Burgess for his entire career; they won a competition together in 2014.

Reynolds is known for joking around on social media, but was all class in his tribute to one of the toughest players ever to grace the game.

Little Cam

The South Sydney Rabbitohs posted an incredible throwback photo after Cameron Murray paid tribute to Sam Burgess to the media.

The photo shows Sam presenting Cam with an award when he’s playing junior footy for the Mascot Jets.

Freddy Finucane

Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues forward Dale Finucane recently welcomed his first child into the world but it was the name which managed to raise an eyebrow or two.

Finucane and his wife Maddie named their son Freddy, which also happens to be the nickname of Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler.
