Jason Taylor Extends With North Sydney Bears

The North Sydney Bears have formally announced that Jason Taylor has committed to the club for another two seasons as head coach.

Bears CEO David Perry said: “After a much improved season for the whole club we are truly excited that Jason has committed to a further two seasons to build on the work achieved in season 2019.

“JT is an integral part of our current plans to drive improved performance not only in the NSW Cup but throughout the grades, junior league and community so having certainty around this is a great step forward for the Bears."

Jason Taylor, said: “It’s been really great to be back with the Bears and I really enjoyed my time this season.

"Having twelve months under my belt has allowed me to become more entrenched in the day to day running of the whole Football program and will give me a better base to work from in season 2020.

"While the 2019 season ended prematurely, there were many positives and some great lessons.

"In 2020 we are looking to go much deeper into the finals but we need our fans behind us.

"With this in mind, I encourage all Bears fans to turn up, support the mighty Red and Black at North Sydney Oval and become a 2020 member.”
