Between the Posts is your weekly update of what’s happening in the lives of our past, present and future Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues players.
Maloney's hilarious french gaffe
There was never any doubt that James Maloney would make an immediate impact at the Catalan Dragons and he's delivered his first piece of comedic gold upon his first week overseas.
Maloney's trip to the local pharmacy brought upon an unexpected surprise and delivered a brilliant one-liner in one of his first media conferences.
Safe to say that Maloney needs all the practice he can get when it comes to the french language!
Blues enjoy the Melbourne Cup
It's the race that stops that nation and the Melbourne Cup delivered another cracking day for those who ventured down to Flemington racecourse on Tuesday.
There were some familiar faces who made the trip with James Tedesco, Clint Gutherson, Victor Radley and Mitch Moses enjoying the festivities.
Wighton, Ferguson celebrate special birthdays
It was a season to be proud of for Jack Wighton having made his representative debuts for the Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues and Australia and claiming the Clive Churchill Medal in the NRL Grand Final.
Likewise for Ferguson, who enjoyed a stunning first year with the Parramatta Eels and made a welcome return to the Origin arena.
It's safe to say they both deserve to put their feet up after long and successful seasons respectively, and their time off has been made all the more special this week as Wighton celebrated his daughter's (Aaliyah) 5th birthday, while Ferguson celebrated his son's (Harlo) 4th.
Happy Birthday, Aaliyah and Harlo!
