Round Three of NSWRL’s Major Competitions in the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership, Presidents Cup and Sydney Shield commences this weekend.
In the Sydney Shield, the Belrose Eagles will look to record back-to-back victories with a largely unchanged side against Cronulla Caringbah Sharks. The Sharks boast the likes of former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs hooker Michael Lichaa and Canterbury Cup NSW premiership-winner, Bronson Garlick.
Meanwhile, the Central Coast Roosters will look to continue their undefeated start to the new campaign when they host Wests Tigers. Harvey Norman NSW Women's Origin stars Isabelle Kelly and Botille Vette-Welsh headline a blockbuster battle of the fullbacks, while both players have also named as respective captains.
Round 3 of the Presidents Cup will also see an action-packed weekend of Rugby League, with Hills District Bulls taking on Maitland Pickers in a clash of the undefeated heavyweights. Pickers have again named a star-studded spine with Daniel and Alex Langbridge at fullback and hooker respectively, while representative five-eighth Chad O'Donnell and ex-NRL star Brock Lamb have been named in the halves.
