Bachelorette's Jackson Garlick to play in live streamed Presidents Cup match

New Bachelor in Paradise arrival Jackson Garlick will play hooker for the Glebe Burwood Wolves with the world watching this Sunday as the match will be streamed on the NSWRL Facebook Page.

Garlick, son of former South Sydney Rabbitohs and Sydney Roosters player Sean Garlick, starred on the Bachelorette last year and was recently unveiled as an intruder in the Bachelor in Paradise show.

His team will host the Wentworthville Magpies at Henson Park this Sunday afternoon with a 2pm kick-off scheduled. Both Rugby League and reality television fans will be treated to a heavyweight commentary team for the live stream when St George Illawarra Dragons legends Shaun Timmins and Jamie Soward team up behind the microphone.

Garlick’s team is stacked with talent that has dominated the Canterbury Cup in years gone by. Joining him in the spine is fullback Honeti Tuha, Sitiveni Moceidreke and Liam Coleman.

Tuha was the hero in the 2015 Canterbury Cup Grand Final when he scored a hat-trick and earned man of the match in the seventh placed Newcastle Knights stunning upset victory.

Moceidreke was so impressive for the North Sydney Bears a few years ago that he earned an NRL debut with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, while Liam Coleman is another son-of-a-gun in Craig.

The Magpies will look to bounce back from their tight loss to Hills District last week; this match is incredibly important given they are yet to chalk up a victory.

Speed machine Omar Slaimankhel will once again don the No.1 jersey for the Magpies and will post as a constant threat, while last week’s try-scorer and NRL player Ethan Parry will he a point of concern for the Wolves on the wing.

Don’t miss Garlick run out for the Wolves this week by tuning into the live stream via the NSWRL Facebook page.
