The NSWRL was saddened to hear of the passing today of former CRL Chairman and NSWRL Life Member Warren Kimberley.

Warren, from Taree, played more than 200 games for Wauchope as well as coaching Wauchope, and became involved with club and group administration during his playing career.

He was later awarded Life Membership of the NSWRL in 1991 and served as CRL Chairman for nine years (1999-2008).

NSWRL Board member and former CRL Chairman John “Choc” Anderson OAM paid tribute to Warren for his contribution to Rugby League.

"Warren was a figure of huge respect in the Rugby League community, not just in the CRL and regional NSW, but across the entire state,” he said.

The NSWRL extends our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
