Stats Amazing | Tuipulotu Katoa

Tuipulotu Katoa earned a well-deserved NRL debut in Round 20 for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs with an impressive 55-minute stint that came to fruition after years of hard work in the club's junior development ranks.

The dynamic outside-back had been waiting in the wings for a majority of the 2020 campaign and finally got his chance in the final game of the regular season.

He has progressed through the club's junior ranks in the UNE Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup squads, before making  31 appearances in Canterbury Cup NSW side and 17 in the Jersey Flegg Cup.

He recorded 12 games in the Canterbury Cup NSW last year, recording five tries and six line-breaks, before representing the CABE NSW Under 20s and Tonga in the World 9s tournament at season's end.

His NRL debut on Saturday sets up a perfect platform to storm into the 2021 campaign with plenty of confidence in the hope of earning a permanent place in the Top 17 under new coach, Trent Barrett.
