NSW Ambassador Nathan Blacklock and NSW Women’s Origin captain Kezie Apps were on hand as First Nations culture and Rugby League came together as part of the inaugural NSWRL and KARI Foundation Festival of Communities on the Far South Coast this week. Along with almost 400 children, across two days, the pair immersed themselves in cultural connection activities like boomerang throwing between footy games and skills clinics.
New South Wales Rugby League respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
