The Parramatta Eels have begun the pre-season with a key signing after securing the services of True Blue and five time Australian Kangaroos prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard until the end of 2025.
Campbell-Gillard, with 155 NRL matches to his name, joined the Eels in 2020 and has built a formidable front row partnership with fellow True Blue Junior Paulo. The pair had a significant impact on Parramatta’s run to the second week of finals this season.
Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill was pleased to announced the 28-year-old’s re-commitment to Parramatta and the contribution Campbell-Gillard can make towards an “exciting future” for the club.
"Reagan has connected well with everyone at our club, is a vital member of our squad and adds a level of aggression needed to compete at NRL level,” O’Neill said.
“We are extremely pleased that he and Alira have chosen to stay with the Eels and be part of the exciting future ahead for our club.
“He is one of the best front rowers in the NRL and loves playing in the big games.”
Campbell-Gillard made his Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues debut in Game One of the successful 2018 State of Origin campaign and was a member of Brad Fittler’s extended squad in 2020.
