Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler was at Redfern today for the delivery of a $10,000 cheque to the NSWRL Foundation from leading Sydney building and development company, Deicorp.
The generous donation signalled the start of a new partnership between Deicorp and the NSWRL Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the NSWRL that aims to drive social change within the community.
The cheque was presented to NSWRL Foundation Chairman, the Hon. John Ajaka, NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden and Fittler by Deicorp Founder and Chairman Fouad Deiri.
Deicorp already has a strong connection to Rugby League after securing partnerships with the St George Illawarra Dragons and Newtown Jets, as well as other community organisations and sporting clubs including local cricket clubs.
“It’s always been part of the Deicorp DNA to give back to the communities we work in,” Deiri said.
“Supporting the NSWRL Foundation is just another way we are delivering on our commitment to building stronger communities.
“We will continue to support organisations that are truly connected with the community and make a difference to those that need our help.”
