NSWRL TV Preview | Regional Reps Semis; Falls on fire

Illawarra South Coast Dragons will be aiming to keep their premiership hopes alive when they turn out for the Regional Representatives Semi-finals this weekend for the SLE Andrew Johns Cup, SLE Laurie Daley Cup and Men’s and Women’s Country Championships.

All eight games will be live streamed on NSWRL TV as the competitions gear up for the Grand Finals to be played at Woy Woy Oval on the NSW Central Coast on Sunday 3 April.

NSWRL TV will also cover Round Seven of the Harold Matthews Cup (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles v Central Coast Roosters) and SG Ball Cup (Sea Eagles v Victoria Thunderbolts), and Round Three of The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup between top-of-the-table Penrith Panthers and the Newcastle Knights.

Penrith is unbeaten after two rounds and will at their home ground, Bluebet Stadium, to make the assignment a little more difficult for Newcastle. The Knights sit in fifth spot after a healthy 30-4 win over the Western Suburbs Magpies last week.

The Panthers are setting the pace early in the season after scoring 76 points and only conceding 10 from just two games, against Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles and the Dragons.

Winger Thomas Jenkins already has three tries from two games, but the leading Penrith pointscorer is halfback Kurt Falls with a try and eight goals (20 pts).
