NSWRL TV Preview | NSW Cup Round 14, Women's Premiership Round Seven

Mounties are searching for some consistent form as they host the North Sydney Bears at Aubrey Keech Reserve on Saturday, when Round 14 action in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup is live-streamed on NSWRL TV.

Mounties enjoyed a 40-10 win over the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in Round 12 only to drop 38-0 to the Eels last weekend.

What looks like a mismatch on paper with the 10th placed Mounties up against the fifth-placed Bears is not so obvious on closer inspection.

The Mounties players excel in second-phase football and currently lie third in the NSW Cup for off-loads (116), while hooker Josh Daley is second in the competition for dummy-half runs behind Penrith rake Soni Luke.

Mounties are also in the top-four for decoy runners in setting up their plays.

But they will have their hands full with the Bears fourth in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for tries (58) largely off the efforts of the backs of winger Tom Carr with 13 and hooker Ben Marschke with 10 try assists.

Sydney Roosters and former Warriors NRL goalkicker Adam Keighran is third in the NSW Cup’s points-scorer list with his reliable boot (34 goals).

Round Seven in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership will bring some good news for either the Wentworthville Magpies or the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Both teams lie seventh and eighth respectively at the bottom of the ladder, searching for their first win of the season – after five losses each.

There’s plenty to play for with the match live-streamed on Monday night on NSWRL TV.

The list of scheduled matches on NSWRL TV this weekend is:

Saturday 11 June

The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup Round 14: Mounties v North Sydney Bears, Aubrey Keech Reserve 3pm

Monday 13 June

Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership Round 7: Wentworthville Magpies v South Sydney Rabbitohs, Ignite HQ Centre of Excellence 7pm
