Ampol State of Origin: Game Two Guide

The Brydens Lawyers NSW Sky Blues take on the Queensland Maroons in Game Two of the 2022 Ampol State of Origin series at Optus Stadium on Sunday 26 June. Here is all the information you need to know if you’re heading to the game or watching at home.

Timings (listed in AWT)

3pm (5pm AEST) — Gates Open at Optus Stadium

3.15pm (5.15pm AEST) — Combined Affiliates States U/18's game

5.15pm (7.15pm AEST) — Pre-game entertainment, Grinspoon

5.50pm (7.50pm AEST) — Ampol State of Origin Game Two: Kick Off

 

Blatchys Blues Wigs and T-Shirts

Blatchys Blues ticket holders will be able to collect their Blatchys wig and T-shirt on the night at Optus Stadium at collection points external to the venue.

Please note, T-shirts only come in L and XL sizes, and tickets must be presented to receive your gear.

 

Transport

  • There is parking available in east Perth and the CBD.
  • Optus Stadium Station will allow one train to depart approximately every two minutes, offering direct services to Perth, Fremantle and Joondalup.
  • Mandurah line passengers will use the Perth Underground.
  • For Midland line passengers, East Perth Station will accommodate 7,500 people who will walk approximately 20 minutes to and from the stadium via the Windan Bridge.
  • A dedicated taxi rank is located on the Eastern side of Victoria Park Drive. All drop off and pick ups of taxis will occur from this location.

Broadcast

The match will be broadcast live and exclusive on Channel Nine.

COVIDSafe

Optus Stadium continues to implement additional processes in response to COVID-19 including:

  • A COVID-19 Safety Plan.
  • Hand sanitising dispensing units are located outside in the Stadium Park adjacent to the train stations, next to the bus station hub and at the end of Matagarup Bridge. A number of units are located inside Optus Stadium at food outlets and entry points.

Remember to stay at home if you’re feeling unwell and cheers us on from the couch!
