Nominate NSW Blues for Sports Dad of the Year

Time is running out to name your favourite Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues for Sports Dad of the Year, with entries closing tomorrow for the annual award which highlights celebrity dads from various sporting codes.

The list of fathers from the Blues extended squad this year includes Jarome Luai, Jordan McLean, Isaah Yeo, Apisai Koroisau, Damien Cook, Junior Paulo, Jack Wighton, Clint Gutherson and Chad Townsend.

The award takes into account how athletes juggle fatherhood with their community and sporting commitments with the winning father donating much needed funds to a charity of his choice, with $85,000 being donated to various charities since the awards started in 2009.

Past winners of the award from the Rugby League family include True Blues Adam Reynolds (2020) and Anthony Minichiello (2014) and former NRL players John Skandalis (2009), Johnathan Thurston (2015, 2018) and Benji Marshall (2019).
