Penitani ruled out of Women's State of Origin I

Harvey Norman NSW Sky Blues winger Tiana Penitani has been ruled out of Game One of the Ampol Women’s State of Origin tonight (1 June) at CommBank Stadium with a hamstring injury.

Penitani suffered a slight hamstring strain late in the week of the team’s preparations and was given every chance to prove her fitness, but was ruled out of the match after not being able to complete the Captain’s Run on Wednesday.

Sky Blues head coach Kylie Hilder will announce team changes an hour before kick-off in line with NRL rules.
