A host of True Blues are in line for the 2023 Philips Sports Dad of the Year award, to mark the 15th year of players celebrating fatherhood, football, and contributing positively to the community.

Last year’s winner was Westpac NSW Blues hooker Damien Cook, who donated his $10,000 winners’ cheque to Ronald McDonald House – providing accommodation for parents and families while their child undergoes hospital treatment.

“I’m very honoured to receive this award on behalf of all the sports dads out there,” Cook told nswrl.com.au last year.

“My family means everything to me, and I love being a dad and everything that comes with it.”

Nominations are now open to the public for this year’s winner, until 19 July.
