CABE NSW Under 19s reps sign with Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers have signed CABE NSW Under 19s representatives Samuela and Latu Fainu to long-term deals from next season.

Forward Samuela, who has already played five NRL games for Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in 2023, and half Latu, who is yet to make his first-grade debut, have committed to the Tigers until the end of 2027.

The CABE NSW Under 19s beat Queensland 32-14 in Redcliffe last week with Samuela named captain and starting at prop while Latu was named at five-eighth.

Both players have been rising stars through NSWRL pathways and were part of the Sea Eagles team which beat Parramatta Eels 24-12 in the 2021 UNE Harold Matthews Cup Grand Final.

Samuela, 19, and Latu, 18, will link with older brother Sione, 22, who joined the Tigers last season.
