The NSWRL is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Hyundai which will see the leading global automobile manufacturer support the game from the grassroots to the elite level, including State of Origin.
The two-year partnership was officially announced at yesterday's 2025 season launch with True Blue Steve Menzies, who won two premierships with Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and played 20 games for his state from 1995-2006, named as a brand ambassador.
The partnership will see Hyundai feature on the shorts of the Westpac NSW Blues and Westpac NSW Blues Women, and 15,000 footballs to be used by community Rugby League clubs and some NSWRL Major Competitions, including the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership and Jersey Flegg Cup.
“Hyundai is one of the leading car manufacturers in the world and we welcome them into the NSWRL family,” NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said.
“The partnership will include involvement with our elite teams, the Westpac NSW Blues and Westpac NSW Blues Women, right through to community Rugby League which reflects Hyundai’s commitment to our great game and the popularity of the NSWRL brand.”
Hyundai’s Director of Marketing and Product, Andrew Tuitahi, said: “Since 1993, Hyundai has proudly supported impactful initiatives within the Rugby League community a legacy we deeply value.
“Our new partnership with NSW Rugby League represents a significant milestone, reaffirming our commitment to fostering the sport at every level, from grassroots to elite athletes, across both men’s and women’s competitions.”
