True blue and NRLW star Millie Elliott will host New South Wales Rugby League’s (NSWRL) annual celebration of the game’s commitment to inclusion and belonging at a Gala Day at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence on Sunday 22 March.
Registrations are now open for the family-friendly Inclusion Gala Day which will bring together people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in a powerful celebration of NSWRL’s vision to be the “Game for All”.
More than just a day of activities, the Inclusion Gala Day is a space where diversity is embraced, barriers are removed, and Rugby League becomes a vehicle of connection across all cultures, communities and identities.
The Gala Day is part of the NSWRL’s Game for All Round, aligning with Harmony Week (16-22 March), Harmony Day (21 March), the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (21 March), National Close the Gap Day (19 March), International Women’s Day (8 March), and Sydney Mardi Gras Festival (13 February - 1 March).
The event will transform the NSWRL Centre of Excellence into a vibrant community hub, showcasing a range of interactive Rugby League experiences designed to be welcoming, accessible, and fun for everyone. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in come-and-try sessions and modified formats of the game tailored to different ages and abilities.
The Inclusion Gala Day is a key pillar of NSWRL’s Inclusion Framework, which focuses on First Nations, Advancement of Females, Multicultural Engagement, All Abilities and LGTBQ+ Pride. In 2025, NSWRL’s ongoing commitment to meaningful inclusion was recognised nationally with Gold Tier Status at the Pride in Sport Awards, further cementing its reputation as a leader in inclusive sport.
NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said: “Inclusion is not an add‑on, it’s central to how we grow and strengthen our game. The Inclusion Gala Day reflects our commitment to creating environments where people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds feel they belong, not just on the field, but within our broader community.
“It is designed to remove barriers and invite people to experience Rugby League in a way that feels welcoming, accessible, and fun. By showcasing inclusive formats of the game and creating opportunities to get involved, the Gala Day highlights how Rugby League can be a positive connector across cultures, communities, and identities.”
NSWRL encourages everyone to register and be a part of a day that showcases Rugby League as the “Game for All”.
