adidas has released the official iconic blue playing jerseys for the Westpac NSW Blues and Westpac NSW Blues Women’s teams ahead of the 2026 Ampol State of Origin Series.
NSWRL is into the second year of a five-year partnership with the global sportswear giant to be the official apparel and footwear partner for both the playing and training kits for the men’s and women’s NSW Origin teams, with the 2026 jersey now available for fans to purchase.
The 2026 jersey pays tribute to NSWRL’s proud 118-year history with a subtle chevron impression on the front of the jersey displayed by True Blues Nathan Cleary, Isabelle Kelly and Yasmin Meakes. After joining the NSWRL family last season, leading New South Wales insurance provider GIO will now feature on the upper back and right chest of the jerseys.
The men's jersey features groundbreaking material innovation, making it the first sustainable on-field match jersey using bio-polyimides and recycled polyester instead of virgin polyester. This provides two-way stretch properties and reinforced strength with double-layer stitching in the seams.
The women's jersey has been specifically designed for the women's team, built on body scans and measurements of female athletes around the world to ensure a superior and performance-enhancing fit.
The jerseys also have a modern and simple design focusing on the iconic blue colour synonymous with both teams, using it to represent not just the players but the entire state of NSW – from the mountains to the ocean – and the unified team spirit it embodies.
The opening game of the Women’s State of Origin series will be played at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle on Thursday 30 April, followed by Game Two at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane (Thursday 14 May) and Game Three at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast (Thursday 28 May).
Game One of the Men’s State of Origin series will be played at Accor Stadium, Sydney on Wednesday 27 May, followed by Game Two at the MCG, Melbourne (Wednesday 17 June) and Game Three at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane (Wednesday 8 July).
