Elliott to host Game Changer workshops

Westpac NSW Blues Women’s stars Millie Elliott, Olivia Kernick and Keeley Davis will return to the NSWRL Centre of Excellence at Sydney Olympic Park next week to host Game Changer workshops for adults living with disability and/or accessibility requirements.

The program, which was started by Elliott in 2022, features two-hour workshops every Monday for the next five weeks and offers indoor and outdoor activities. Each session includes one hour of classroom-based learning followed by one hour of engaging physical activities.

“We are really excited to facilitate another five-week Game Changer Program with New South Wales Rugby League,” Elliott said.

“With Westpac’s support the program comes at no cost, with support workers or family members very welcome to attend as well.

“It’s a great opportunity to meet people, make friends and learn new things, whilst having lots of fun along the way!”

The program is designed to boost self-confidence and resilience, enhance physical and mental well-being, set and achieve both short-term and long-term goals and promote further education and job readiness.

Elliott, Kernick and Davis, who are already in pre-season training with the Sydney Roosters for the Telstra Women’s Premiership which kicks off on Thursday 2 July, were part of the Westpac NSW Blues Women’s team that scored a historic 3-0 win over Queensland to retain the Ampol Women’s State of Origin Shield.

Spots are limited and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are interested in attending, please email the Trainer Group Foundation on admin@trainergroupfoundation.org.
