Cambourn named to make NRL officiating debut

Long-serving NSWRL referee Tom Cambourn is set to make his first-grade officiating debut in Round 17 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

With almost 300 grade games to his name since 2017, Cambourn has this week been appointed to run the sideline as touch judge during tonight’s clash between Parramatta Eels and South Sydney Rabbitohs at CommBank Stadium.

Cambourn has also officiated 126 matches in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup and has been touch judge for the past three Grand Finals.

He was the 2025 recipient of the Doug Wintin OAM Award, presented to graded officials who have made an outstanding contribution to the NSWRL Referees Association.

The NSWRL congratulates Tom on his well-deserved appointment.
