The 2026 LCA NRL Wheelchair Championship campaign begins today with NSW taking on New Zealand in the opening match of the tournament on the Gold Coast.
The three-day championship will bring together the best Wheelchair Rugby League talent from across Australia and New Zealand, with seven representative teams contesting 21 matches in the sport’s largest annual tournament.

NSW opens its campaign against New Zealand 12pm today before taking on the ACT in a Grand Final rematch at 4pm. They will then face South East Queensland, Affiliated States and North Queensland tomorrow, before wrapping up the pool stages against Victoria on Sunday ahead of the finals later that afternoon.
