NSWRL are pleased to announce a dedicated Sports Management Graduate Program will be available to recent graduates, or those nearing completion, of tertiary qualifications in Business, Sport Management, Sports Administration or related disciplines.
The program will commence on Monday 2 November 2026 and be offered to two candidates who will join NSWRL on a 12-month full-time paid development opportunity designed to develop the next generation of sport industry professionals.
Graduates will be placed in either the Community Rugby League or Major Competitions department to work alongside a team of experienced professionals who strive to make Rugby League in NSW the greatest game of all.
They will be provided with hands-on experience, structured learning, mentoring, cross-functional exposure, and the chance to contribute to strategic and operational projects across the organisation. The program will also see graduate's complete a capstone research project that will provide an opportunity to apply knowledge and learning to a real-life sport administration or management challenge.
The initiative has been designed to bridge the gap between university study and the workforce, giving emerging professionals the opportunity to develop their skills, build industry connections, and gain a deeper understanding of the sporting industry.
