NSWRL TV on BarTV Sports FAQs
1. Why is NSWRL TV on BarTV Sports?
NSWRL has partnered with BarTV Sports to give subscribers the opportunity to watch ALL matches in NSWRL Major Competitions and Junior Representative Competitions. This is a significant uplift from what NSWRL TV subscribers were offered in the first successful year of NSWRL TV. The new offering with BarTV will provide an extensive, high-quality and affordable option with the ability to watch matches from ALL of our competitions across the state.
2. Will my old NSWRL TV subscription be moved to BarTV Sports?
No. To protect your privacy, emails and passwords cannot be automatically moved to BarTV Sports. You will need to start a new subscription with BarTV Sports to begin watching NSWRL TV content. This can be done at the address bartvsports.com.au/account.
3. Will old (2024) NSWRL TV content be available on BarTV Sports?
Yes. The team at BarTV Sports is currently migrating videos to the platform, which you can view at bartvsports.com.au/nswrltv/. More videos will be added in the future.
4 . How do I subscribe to BarTV Sports?
You can manage all aspects of your account (including subscriptions) by visiting bartvsports.com.au/account and simply select your preferred subscription plan. Follow the prompts to complete and pay for your subscription.
5. What is the difference between registration and subscription?
Before subscribing to watch content, you must first register an email address and password with BarTV Sports. Registration on the site is free and allows us to protect your data and confirm your email address. Once you are registered, you can then subscribe at bartvsports.com.au/account.
6. I never received my verification email. What should I do?
Please make sure you check Spam and any “Clutter” email folders after you register. Sometimes the verification email is sent to spam. If you still can’t see the verification message, contact us at BarTV Sports and one of our support staff will help you.
7. What subscription options are available? We currently offer the following subscription plans:
- Monthly Subscription: $19.95 per month (auto-renews until you cancel).
- 48-Hour Pass: $6.95 (one-time purchase, cancels automatically after 48 hours).
You can choose a competition to support during the subscription process. Our monthly subscription (which automatically renews) is a similar platform to Netflix or Stan. Users must manage their own subscription.
8. How can I check if I already have an account?
You can check if you have an existing account by visiting bartvsports.com.au/forgotten-password and entering your email address. If you have an account registered, you will receive an email allowing you to reset your password. Please check Spam or “Clutter” folders for this email. If this doesn’t work, contact us at BarTV Sports and one of our support staff will look up your account.
9. I have forgotten my password. What can I do?
You can try to reset your password via email by visiting bartvsports.com.au/forgotten-password and entering your email address. If you have an account registered, you will receive an email allowing you to reset the password to something you remember. Please check Spam or “Clutter” folders for this email. If this doesn’t work, contact us at BarTV Sports and one of our support staff will help.
10. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time via bartvsports.com.au/account on the website. Monthly subscriptions will remain active until the end of the billing period, and no further charges will be applied.
11. How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage all aspects of your account (including subscriptions) by visiting bartvsports.com.au/account. You will need to be logged in to manage your subscription.
12. Can I watch games for free?
Some competitions may choose to make their matches available for free. Check the BarTV Sports website or app for the latest updates on free-to-watch games.
13. What devices can I watch on?
You can watch BarTV Sports content on:
- Desktop and laptop computers (via web browser).
- Smartphones and tablets (via the BarTV Sports app or browser).
- Smart TVs and casting devices (via screen mirroring or casting through the web/app player).
14. Where can I get the app?
You can download the BarTV Sports app from the App Store or Google Play.
15. What content is included in my subscription?
Your subscription gives you access to:
- Live streams of ALL subscription matches across the site.
- Full match replays.
- Mini-game highlight packages.
- Exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interviews.
16. Can I watch multiple competitions with one subscription?
Yes, your subscription gives you access to ALL available competitions on BarTV Sports (except for “pay-per-view” single events). Selecting a specific competition when subscribing helps us allocate revenue accordingly.
17. Is there a way to support my club through my subscription?
Yes, when you subscribe, you can select your preferred competition or club to ensure that a percentage of your subscription fee is directed back to them. BarTV Sports has returned over $1 million to clubs and competitions through this model.
18. Can I download matches to watch offline?
Almost all matches on BarTV Sports can be purchased to download and keep for a fee (after the match is finished). These usually cost $9.95 but some competitions may opt to charge more. Visit a match page once the game is finished to see if a full download can be purchased.
19. Who do I contact for technical support?
If you experience any issues with your subscription or viewing, please view the Contact Us page or email our support team at contact@bartvsports.com.au.
20. Do you offer refunds?
Subscriptions to BarTV are generally non-refundable however if you experience technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing the service (or if you believe our coverage has experienced problems), please contact us at BarTV Sports and one of our support team will offer assistance.
21. Can I switch from a monthly subscription to a 48-hour pass or vice versa?
If you are currently running an active subscription this can’t be changed to a different type until the current subscription completes. You can then choose a different option going forward. You can manage your subscription plan via bartvsports.com.au/account at any time.
22. How reliable is the streaming quality?
We use industry leading, “bonded” technology to ensure high-quality streaming with strong signal strength from venues. Our in-studio producers monitor all streams for quality control, including video, audio, and graphics. Very rarely, streams can be impacted by low signal strength (such as in regional areas, in large crowds, adverse weather etc). If you believe a match was not up to standard, contact us at BarTV Sports and let us know.
23. Can I share my account with others?
Your BarTV Sports subscription is designed for personal use, allowing you to log in on multiple devices, such as your tablet and PC at home. However, sharing your account with others outside your household is not permitted, in line with standard practices across major streaming services. This helps us continue providing quality coverage and support to the clubs and competitions we serve.
