Round two of the OAMPS Cup was run and won over the weekend leaving just one more weekend of the pre-season competition.

Unfortunately this weekend should have seen us contesting the Grand Finals in both the True Blue Chemicals Sydney Shield and Ron Massey Cup competitions, however due to losing a week of play a fortnight ago due to the big wet, this will not be the case.

As a result, this weekend will see us down to four in both competitions, and with no more time to find a winner the weekend after with the competition proper kicking off, the Grand Finals of the OAMPS Cup will carry forward into the regular season.

For example, if Asquith and Mounties win through in the True Blue Chemicals Sydney Shield section of the competition, their round four meeting in April will double as a regular season clash as well as the Grand Final of this tournament.

So with that in mind, here are the results from round two as well as this weekend’s draw.

Round two results:

True Blue Chemicals Sydney Shield

Cabramatta Two Blues 34 def. Asquith Magpies 28

Guildford Owls 36 def. Penninsula Seagulls 30

Wentworthville Magpies 46 def. Hills District Bulls 32

Mounties 44 def. Auburn Warriors 20

Ron Massey Cup

Kingsgrove Colts 26 def. Cabramatta Two Blues 22

Blacktown Workers 30 def. Asquith Magpies 22

Wentworthville Magpies 36 def. Western Suburbs Magpies 14
