The Hogs for Homeless began their annual tour of New South Wales today, departing from Frasers Motorcycles at Concord in Sydney.

The Hogs headed north on the Putty Road through some difficult weather conditions before arriving at Cessnock Sports Ground to meet and greet with the locals.

NSWRL TV caught up with 'Wild Hog' Nathan Hindmarsh to discuss the day's events.

The 2015 ‘Hogs For The Homeless Tour’ sees former Test stars Brad Fittler and Nathan Hindmarsh joined by a host of league greats including Matt Cooper, Steve Menzies and Ian Schubert as they travel from Lismore to Gundagai.

Supporters of the NSW VB Blues can meet their heroes at 20 locations – at junior registration days, skills clinics, auction nights, fan appearances and school visits – throughout the State.

Be sure to support the ride and purchase raffle tickets to support the charity, with your chance to win a Harley-Davidson XL1200X Forty Eight Worth $19,495.
