NSWRL CEO David Trodden has been crowned Administrator of the Year at the 2014 NSW Sports Awards.

Our boss, affectionately known as 'Trodds', won the award from high-flying officials at Rowing NSW, Netball NSW, Football NSW and Athletics NSW.

Trodden, under the leadership of the NSWRL Board of Directors and Chairman Dr George Peponis OAM, has helped achieve great things both on and off the field within the organisation since starting in the role just a couple of years ago.

Trodden, however, wasn't the only NSWRL representative to be honoured at the NSW Sports Awards.

The NSW VB Blues' 2014 2-1 series victory saw coach Laurie Daley named a finalist for Coach Of The Year. The NSW VB Blues side, led by captain Paul Gallen, was among six finalists for Team Of The Year with the New South Wales Rugby League also nominated for Organisation Of The Year.

Well done, Dave - and to everyone who is helping grow sport in the greatest state of all.
