Rugby league fans are almost a week away from watching some of the best players in NSW face off in Wagga Wagga - and they can attend 2015 AAMI Country v City for as little as $10!

Tickets for the general public went on sale last month for the annual clash, which will be held at McDonald's Park on Sunday, May 3.

NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said the match will serve as a genuine State of Origin trial for NSW coach Laurie Daley - and one locals should put on their "must-attend" list.

“The annual City-Country match remains an integral part of NSW’s representative rugby league framework and I know our KARI City Origin team, coached by VB Blues legend Brad Fittler, will be desperate to fight for a win and put on a good show for the people of Wagga Wagga,” Trodden said.

“It should be a great spectacle.”

Last year’s AAMI Country v City match in Dubbo ended in a thrilling 26-all draw. KARI City Origin coach Brad Fittler and VB Country Origin Coach Trent Barrett said it would again be an important lead-in match to the Holden State of Origin series.

“It's always an enjoyable week to be a part of and the Country boys love getting out and engaging with the local communities,” Barrett said.

“It's fantastic to see games of this standard being played in regional areas and we're looking forward to playing in front of a big country crowd.”

Fittler said: “Last year’s Origin win has made competition for VB Blues spots fiercer than ever. There’ll be some absolute fan favourites and some real cult heroes playing in this match – it will be fantastic.”

Tickets are also available to pre-purchase during business hours from any of the two Telstra Stores (Shop 21, Sturt Mall, or 182b Baylis Street) in Wagga Wagga. When purchasing tickets in store, Telstra Thanks is offering Telstra customers a reduced ticket price of $7 for Adults.
