The New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) has today issued more than $300,000 in grants to a range of organisations and programs as part of its annual Affiliate Grants Awards.
School groups, disabilities programs, high-performance academies and armed-forces rugby league organisations were all beneficiaries of the 2015 NSWRL Affiliate Grants Awards.
Chief Executive Officer of the NSWRL David Trodden said it was a great honour for the organisation to be able to support community rugby league.
“It’s an absolute pleasure for the NSWRL to be able to provide financial assistance to the likes of Wheelchair Rugby League, Physical Disabilities Rugby League and Primary School Sports Association, among other organisations and programs,” Trodden said.
“These affiliates and programs represent the grassroots of our great sport and highlight the positive impact rugby league has on the wider community.
“The NSWRL considers it an honour to be able to support these organisations and programs.”
