Teams including South Sydney Indigenous, Cook Islands, Malta, Latin America, NSW Maori and Federation Italian RL Australia will take their place in the eighth annual Redfern Harmony 9s tournament – and everyone under 18 is encouraged to participate next Saturday, 19 September, with teams on the lookout for players.

Running since 2008, the one-day tournament is staged at St Johns Oval at Sydney University and the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence at Redfern, featuring 12 teams across four pools in a round-robin format, before the knock-out stages and finals.

The annual competition is dedicated to giving back to the communities that support rugby league, providing the opportunity for players to represent their community and promote cultural diversity.

If you are interested in participating in the Redfern 9s Under-18s tournament, please contact the relevant team representative here or contact NSW Rugby League for more information or any other enquiries at community@nswrl.com.au
