They’re the junior stars of the future – and they’ve been rewarded for stellar seasons by claiming awards at this year’s Brad Fittler Medal.
Players of the Year from the Harold Matthews competition, Fine (pronounced Fin-ay) Kula, SG Ball, Tom Starling and the NSW under-20s side, Brian Kelly, were thrust up on stage in front of more than 600 guests on Monday night – and they couldn’t be happier.
Members of the Cronulla Sharks, Newcastle Knights and Gold Coast Titans respectively, the talented trio of Kula, Starling and Kelly are looking forward to taking even more steps forward in their careers in the years ahead.
