The NSW Blues’ Far Away Fans have been given a special treat in Perth.

As part of a special series of clinics and precinct activations at nib stadium with thanks to nib, supporters from Western Australia got to meet and greet some of NSW Origin’s best-ever Blues including Steve ‘Blocker’ Roach, Josh Perry and Shaun Timmins.

Fans mingled with the Blues legends and had photos taken in the on-site photo booth with a replica Origin shield, with attendees also engaging with official New South Wales Rugby League social channels.

A total of 250 of Western Australia’s youngest Rugby League fans also got the opportunity to run around with footy in hand at an NRL Development Clinic featuring Warriors and Manly players as part of the lead-in to their match on Saturday. It comes with the news that Perth will host its first State of Origin match in 2019.

The NSW Blues are recruiting supporters far and wide, including those who don’t live in New South Wales or who can’t get to games – join us as official Blatchys Blues Far Away Fans. Click here for more info.

Don’t forget you too can show your support on social media using the #farawayfan hashtag.
