The NSWRL Under-16s and Under-18s Pathways camp has been about more than just on-field skills; it serves to teach young men important life skills as well.

With 40 of the best Rugby League talents in the state coming together in Narrabeen for the three-day program, the players are taught from a young age to prepare for life off the field while chasing a successful career on the field. After a hard day of on-field training, the under-18s hit the kitchen for a nutrition class, working as both a team-building and life skills experience.

Cooking dinner for themselves, the under-16s players and staff, the players learned how to create a number of nutritious meals, including various salads and smoothies, lasagna and protein balls.

The meals all went down a treat and the players now look forward to the final day of camp, with more on-field training to come.
