Mounties head into the 2017 season with a point to prove, after several near misses throughout their five years in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW. Veteran coach Steve Antonelli once again takes the helm and will have at his disposal several key signings, including Reubenn Rennie, Yileen Gordon, Dylan Izzard and Dominic Reardon. They will be without 2016 Intrust Super Premiership NSW Player of the Year Sam Williams, however, as well as stars Brenko Lee and Paul Vaughan, while last season's leading try-scorer Kato Ottio will be recovering from a devastating ACL injury.
