The Cronulla Sharks are 2017 SG Ball minor premiers, securing the feat with a 32-16 victory over the Western Sydney Academy of Sport. 

Alike the Sharks, Parramatta, Canterbury and Penrith all finished on 14 competition points, and all won their respective games on the weekend.

The most impressive performance came from the Eels, smashing West Coast 96-0 at New Era Stadium.
