The opening week of finals in the Harold Matthews competition kicked off over the weekend, with the Newcastle Knights and the Parramatta Eels booking a one-way ticket to the Preliminary Finals.
Manly had a big win over Central Coast to advance into the second week of finals, while the Canberra Raiders also advanced with a 30-16 victory over South Sydney.
