MEDIA | Maloney: "It's A Familiar Combination"

James Maloney has praised the selection of former Roosters and NSW VB Blues teammate Mitchell Pearce, explaining that the combination they have formed in the past will once again transition smoothly into the Origin arena.

"Really happy to see Mitch back in this team," Maloney tells NSWRL.com.au. "The footy he's been playing this year has been really good.

"I know his game really well and it will help things click in a short preparation."
