NSW Coach Laurie Daley has sounded out a blunt message to the Queensland Maroons side who has said his men are ripe for the picking - "have a crack at them."

Words swirled on Monday suggesting Cameron Smith's side would look to exploit the Blues' left-edge defence - namely returning centre, 20-time Blues rep Jarryd Hayne - a point of contention which Daley welcomes.

"He's a big game player," Daley says.

"It's been a really good week, we've trained really well, we're looking forward to tomorrow night. The guys are certainly relaxed, I can't fault their prep at this stage.

"We've the captain's run to get through, but we're under no illusions. We know how tough it is up there at Suncorp (Stadium), we'll be ready to put our best foot forward."
