Heading into Wednesday's decider, Brett Morris says he's out to snap up the chance to write his name into Origin history, having missed the VB Blues' drought-breaking success in 2014.

"It could be [my last game], I probably wasn't going to get selected at all if there wasn't a few injuries," Morris says.

"I understand that, you never know when your last Origin game is going to be."
