Giving an insight into his fitness ahead of Wednesday's Origin decider, Boyd Cordner has declared he will make a call on his calf to best suit the team - not his own interests.

Getting through yesterday's (Sunday's) opposed session with the Holden Cup Gold Coast Titans without concern, Cordner says he'll again assess his calf following Tuesday's captain's run.

"I was basically 100 per cent on Sunday, it was a pretty big session. I ticked off a couple of things now," Cordner says.

"It put my mind at ease a bit, at this stage it looks pretty good."
