For the first time ever four Grand Finals will feature at the biggest day on the NSW Rugby League calendar, with Leichhardt Oval the only place to witness live Rugby League in Sydney on Sunday (24 September).

Never before has the NSWRL Grand Final Day showcased such a vast array of talent, with silverware on offer in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW, Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership, Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield.

The showcase match-up features minor premiers Wyong against Penrith in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW decider at 6.45pm, as the Roos go in search of their maiden title.

St Marys and Mounties kick-start the day’s action in the Sydney Shield Grand Final at 12pm, while Wentworthville and Auburn face off in the Ron Massey Cup decider at 2.10pm

The inaugural Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership Grand Final at 4.20pm sees the Redfern All Blacks and North Newcastle go head-to-head, before Wyong and Penrith square off in the final match of the day.

With no NRL action on Sunday, NSWRL General Manager of Football Barrie-Jon Mather has encouraged Rugby League supporters to enjoy a family fun day in Sydney’s inner west, with adult tickets just $10 and kids under 12 to enter for free.

“It’s sensational that for the first time ever we’ll have four games, including the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership. It promises to be an excellent day of Rugby League at Leichhardt Oval,” Mather said.

“If you like Rugby League, irrespective of who you support, Leichhardt Oval is the place to be on Sunday. It's one of the great suburban grounds and fans will enjoy an experience different to that of what the NRL can offer.”

Families are invited to soak up the atmosphere of the NSWRL Grand Final Day precinct on Wayne Pearce Hill from 11.45am, with activities including a jumping castle, face painting and petting zoo sure to entertain fans young and old.

Half-time entertainment will feature dance choreographies from NRL cheerleaders and cheer girls, as well as Junior Rugby League matches and the NIB zorb ball challenge.

NSWRL.com.au will live stream the Sydney Shield, Ron Massey Cup and Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership Grand Finals, while FOX League will broadcast the Intrust Super Premiership NSW decider, with coverage starting from 6.30pm.
