The NSWRL is gearing up for another memorable weekend with the Blue Harmony Cup to be staged at St Marys on Saturday 20 October 2018.
The annual celebration of Rugby League, which brings together participants from a variety of backgrounds, will be held at St Marys Leagues Stadium and The Kingsway St Marys (under-16s pool games) with more than 10 Heritage Groups committed to taking part.
"The Blue Harmony Cup continues to be a wonderful initiative and goes from strength to strength every season," NSWRL Head of Competitions Yvette Downey said.
"It promotes inclusiveness and cultural diversity in Rugby League, as well as providing a fun and friendly atmosphere for all participants and their families.
"I encourage everyone who has a passion for the game to attend the Blue Harmony Cup."
The age groups represented include under-18s and under-16s boys and girls, with the Heritage Groups taking part including Samoa NSW, Ozzy Cooks, Fiji, NSW Maori, Mediterranean, Malta, Tonga, Africa United, Italy/Australia (FIRLA), NSWRL Indigenous and NSWRL Harmony Teams (for players not identifying with one of the other participating cultural backgrounds).
All divisions will play in a nine-a-side format throughout the day (representative players are ineligible for selection) and will be accompanied by a cultural celebration from the participating nation-region.
