He’s only a fresh face at the club, but Angus Crichton wasted no time to recruit a cross-code international superstar to the Sydney Roosters.

Virat Kohli, currently the best and most popular cricketer in the world, has been training at the Sydney Cricket Ground where his Indian team will play Australia in an ODI tomorrow afternoon.

The Roosters are based just next door to the SCG, and when Crichton bumped into the cricket superstar he unofficially recruited him to the club.

Crichton took a photo with Kohli and where he posted it on Instagram, but that wasn’t without presenting him with a Sydney Roosters training shirt.

Kohli wore the shirt in the photo to which Crichton wrote in the caption ‘@sydneyroosters sign @virat.kohli’
