The St George Illawarra Dragons took on the Parramatta Eels in in a blockbuster clash of Round 3.  Both teams were keen to add a win to their 2019 campaign with the Dragon's pushing for their first victory of the season.

Both teams took time to settle into as they each made simple mistakes early, but it was the Dragons who eventually proved dominant as Cory Cannane rolled in for 10 tries.

Tier Two

This week saw the Canberra Raiders battle the Penrith Panthers with both teams finding it difficult to put points on the board as their defence held strong.

The Raiders young players went toe to toe with the more experienced Panthers outfit and it proved telling late in the game. Penrith were able to edge ahead of the Raiders on the back of the kicking game of Captain Michael Grech.
